Property
websites are a quick and convenient way for people to search for their
next home. The more user friendly a website is, the better the results
will be for the viewer and for you, the property business!
We can design all aspects of your property website from the website that the viewer will see, through to the admin system that will administer the properties on your website.
We have developed an easy-to-use website management system which allows non-technical users to administer properties on their website quickly and with no training.
A search facility is also supplied as standard so that properties can be filtered based on the viewer requirements.
We have developed a property website for a Bristol-based company: www.lettingzed.co.uk. This site uses the Oranda Spark admin system to add / edit / delete properties including full details and photographs. Changes are instantly reflected on the site.
Below are the main features that are utilised in our property website packages:
Property List Page:
The property list page is created from a viewer search or a standard
'A-Z' of all available properties. Each property would click
into a full details page. This page will show the most important 'quick-find'
information such as location; number of bedrooms; price; property
type and brief sentence about the property. A thumbnail photographic
image of the property will also be displayed (if available) next to
the details.
Property Detail Page:
When a viewer is interested in a property they can click
the 'more details' link on that property to move onto a full page
of information. Each property entry also benefits from up to 8 photographs,
which can be clicked to open up a higher resolution image.
Search system:
The search system is able to filter properties based on a number of
factors including:
- Sort by price, location etc
- Minimum price
- Maximum price
- Area
- Type of property
- Minimum bedrooms
Property enquiry page:
This page will fill in the relevant details of the property the viewer
is interested it and prompt them for their personal details so tha
they can be contacted. These details are formatted into an email that
will be sent to the relevant individuals to follow up.
Property Management System:
This is a simple-to-use administration area (password protected) where
you can add / edit and delete (or hide) properties.
The Oranda Spark editor system is very simple-to-use and does not require any technical knowledge. The system prompts for the required data e.g. location, price etc, which is then stored into the site database. Images are also formatted using our upload tool which ensures everything fits within the site layout and also means that you do not need to worry about image dimensions and file sizes. Images can be uploaded from a computer or camera.
Out system is massively flexible meaning that the data fields can be tailored to your requirement meaning that you are not fixed to a specific set of details for your listed properties.
We also provide a Rightmove datafeed creator which, from the click of a button, will take all your live properties and formats them into the required datafeed text file along with packaging the images into the correct format. This can then be uploaded to your account on the Rightmove servers via FTP software.
